Spirit & Place event
Imagination doesn’t diminish with age. Challenge your perceptions about getting older and be inspired to live more creatively in later life. Hear lifelong visual artist Lois Main Templeton and arts leader Joyce Sommers reflect on their journeys. Rotate to different rooms to experience ceramics instructor Loran Hill exploring clay as a metaphor for life, woodworking instructor Lee Ellis, and IMA docents Lee Rand and Judi Jones discussing artists in the IMA collection whose work evolved later in life. Presented by Indianapolis Art Center, the IMA, University of Indianapolis, Center for Aging and Community, and WFYI.
