London-based artist Mark Lewis makes short films that explore the mechanics and seductive power of the moving image. Presented in the IMA’s Carmen & Mark Holeman Video Gallery will be Lewis' 2006 work Rear Projection: Molly Parker, a 4 minute film that looks to the outmoded technique of rear projection to bring attention to the technical and descriptive conventions of filmmaking.
